ANIMAL WELFARE
SONIC believes that handling animals in a humane manner, and preventing neglect or abuse, is our corporate responsibility and quite simply, the right thing to do.
Although Sonic is a restaurant company and, as such, does not raise, handle, own, transport or process animals, Sonic strongly supports and believes that it is our obligation to ensure that each of our suppliers meets or exceeds established government regulations and recognized industry guidelines for the humane treatment and handling of farm production animals.

COMMUNITY GIVING

National Programs
For more than 15 years, Sonic's community giving programs have been geared toward advancing education and academic opportunity for Oklahoma youth ages 4-22. To further extend its commitment to education, Sonic is embarking on its largest corporate philanthropic effort to date—Limeades for Learning.
Limeades for Learning is a national cause branding program in partnership with DonorsChoose.org that benefits teachers and students in local communities. Throughout the year, Sonic will partner with DonorsChoose.org to inspire learning in classrooms across the country.
